My thoughts on AoU
Yeah I don’t know. Not really though but I felt like everything was forced and rushed and then there’s this idiotic romance shit going down between Nat and Bruce which was like a punch in the face and completely unnecessary because it came out of nowhere and I don’t get why they threw that in there (especially after everything Clintasha). It also seemed like the dynamic in the group was completely forgotten and the movies between the first Avengers and this one didn’t even count. There wasn’t any flow to the story either (BAM action BAM backstory BAM back to the action part BAM Clint has a motherfucking WIFE AND KIDS?!?!?!? BAM more action). It didn’t feel natural to me and meh I’m just not satisfied after all these years of waiting. Also, where was all the other characters I was looking forward to seeing? Pepper? Jane? Coulson?
I did like (not even like, LOVE) the Maximoff’s! Super sad that Pietro died, super excited that Wanda lived (I think I found my new fav character). Also VISION! AND THANOS (thank god for the end credit scene) because shit’s going down soon.
Idk I think I lost faith in Joss’s work and I’ve always been a fan of his but this is imo his weakest work yet (yes that includes Firefly).
